Post-Election Update

Dearest Church Family,

While I feel compelled to reach out to you, I have not formed the words yet to express what is on my heart.  And so for today, I pray with you and encourage you to continue to DO GOOD.

Our Greater Northwest Bishop Cedric Bridgeforth sent a video this morning that helped to ground me in this unsettling time.  I encourage you to listen to it. 

Also, the church building is open today (11/06/24) for those in need of a place to process and just sit in the presence of God's grace.  The building will be open 9am - 2:30pm in any of these spaces... 

• Sanctuary for silent meditation 

• Chapel for connection, if others are present 

• The labyrinth in the narthex

Today, while we may be in shock over how our country has chosen to move forward - we are still the people of God, seeking justice for those who feel marginalized and scared right now.
