Garden Street United Methodist YOUTH!

All youth sixth to twelvth grade are welcome to join us for many exciting events to help us grow in faith, make new friends, and strengthen our relationship with God!

Youth Group meets each Sunday night from 6-8:00pm in Room D. Watch the News & Events Page to be sure of time and location, and special events.

Upcoming Events:

DURING THE MONTH OF MAY: Please support the Food Labyrinth Drive to Benefit Bellingham Food Bank by bringing canned and nonperishable food donations each and every Sunday from May 5-June 2, 2013. Donations may be placed anywhere on the labyrinth lines during the month of May; or left in the baskets in the hallway for Sunday School children to place for you after worship. Our goal is to cover all of the yellow lines of the labyrinth during the food drive. Everyone is encouraged to walk the labyrinth to pray about hunger in our community. Prayer starters and other information about labyrinths can be found in the upstairs chapel. Watch our progress on the hallway bulletin board!

THRU JUNE: Garden Street Youth will be tending the Jar$ for Jamaa Letu after the second worship service thru 6/9. Please drop coins and bills in the jar to support the orphanages of Jamaa Letu in Lubumbashi, D.R. of Congo.

TIME SENSITIVE DEADLINES: Men, women & youth (age 12-17): mark your calendars for “Mission u”, 7/12-15/13, at CWU, Ellensburg, WA. Theme is “Learning Together for Transformation of the World”. DEADLINES: Scholarship – 5/16, Early Bird – 5/30, Registration – 6/14. Forms available at www.pnwumw.org; click on Forms/Links.
